Shalom House is a free, self-catered holiday home for those involved in missions work. This has been made possible by the collaboration of Mary Atkin Trust and the Titoki Healing Centre Trust. Shalom is fully furnished and is located on the tranquil rural 10-acre grounds of Titoki Christian Healing Retreat Centre, just outside Whakatane. Stay for a weekend or up to 8 weeks at a time. Please enquire for availability.

MISSIONARY DEBRIEFING
Missionary care is provided in the form of guided debriefing. The team at Titoki use a Debriefing Programme developed by the Le Rocher Centre in France. The debrief week is called the "Exchange at the Cross" Personal Debriefing Retreat. Debriefing is the structured processing of your time spent overseas in cross-cultural service.
No daily programme is provided, as the facilitators tailor-make it for you. However, during the first part of the week, you may notice psychological tools are used. This helps explore issues of transition, loss and grief. Then the latter half of the week turns intentionally towards Jesus as the Ultimate Healer via the Cross.
DEBRIEFING RATE:
$500 for a couple
$400 for single
We have access to trust funding which covers approx. 80% of this cost when required.
